Aguero is a City legend but the club has opted against renewing his contract at the been club meaning that club meaning that he will leave the Etihad Stadium as a free agent.
Borussia Dortmund striker ErlingHaaland and Tottenham Hotspur player Harry Kane have been identified as potential replacement for Aguero as per the reports in the media. Southampton striker Danny Ings is another striker linked with a move to the Etihad Stadium.
Borussia Dortmund hitman Haaland is the first choice option for Manchester City but they will have to fend off a lot of the bigger clubs in the race to sign the Norwegian international player this summer. Other big teams like Chelsea, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Barcelona are also keen on his signing.
Manchester City will have to spend as much as £300m on Haaland if they want to sign him and they might have to look at cheaper alternatives like Kane and Ings. £300m covers his transfer fee from Dortmund plus his weekly wages.
