KANE SEEN AS HAALAND ALTERNATIVE

Manchester City see Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane as the alternative to Borussia Dortmund hitman ErlingHaaland. This is according to a recent publication from The Times which established that City will turn to Kane if they can’t sign the Borussia Dortmund player.

Premier League champions in waiting Manchester City are in the market for a new striker ahead of the new season after the club announced that Sergio Aguero will leave the club this summer after a decade of service with the four-time Premier League winners.

Aguero is a City legend but the club has opted against renewing his contract at the been club meaning that club meaning that he will leave the Etihad Stadium as a free agent.

Borussia Dortmund striker ErlingHaaland and Tottenham Hotspur player Harry Kane have been identified as potential replacement for Aguero as per the reports in the media. Southampton striker Danny Ings is another striker linked with a move to the Etihad Stadium.

Borussia Dortmund hitman Haaland is the first choice option for Manchester City but they will have to fend off a lot of the bigger clubs in the race to sign the Norwegian international player this summer. Other big teams like Chelsea, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Barcelona are also keen on his signing.

Manchester City will have to spend as much as £300m on Haaland if they want to sign him and they might have to look at cheaper alternatives like Kane and Ings. £300m covers his transfer fee from Dortmund plus his weekly wages.
